During District Days you and other tobacco control advocates throughout the state will have the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with Senators and Assembly Members by meeting with them in their district offices.
Unlike I&E Days, you will be in charge of scheduling your meeting and coordinating with the other meeting attendees – but don’t worry! We have resources to help you. Check out our Steps for Scheduling a District Meeting and Appointment Tracking Form below.
Remember, these meetings are strictly educational. Bring local data related to your tobacco work and encourage your coalition members to share their personal reason for getting involved. If you need help determining messaging, we can help with that as well. Click here for our key message leave behind and click here for the corresponding talking points document.
